Bluebird
Hills Theneva Female
suri born 11 October, 2000 (ARI
826798). Neva is a tall, stretchy,
solid boned light fawn with
great luster and tiny pencil
locks. Her father is Gold Jubilee,
award-winning son of Uribe.
She has an elegant presence
and a fun loving nature. Even
though she’s all grown up now,
she can be seen most evenings
frolicking with the crias. She
is one of those special alpacas
that just make you stand in
awe of their intuition and nurturing
nature. Neva has an amazing
trait of allowing any and all
crias to nurse off her. Although
it means we need to pay close
attention to her condition,
I appreciate this milk machine.
Even though we’ve never had
an orphan cria, I rest easier
knowing she’s here. Neva has
been bred to Zeus of Tualatin
Valley, the standout son of
Inca. We are expecting a late
summer 2006 cria. |

Juliet of Round Hill
ARI #827106 is a medium brown
huacaya who’s been a looker
from the day she was born…she
just commands attention. She’s
a Last Don daughter and inherited
his stature, density and presence.
She exhibited style, poise and
confidence in the show ring
and has the ribbons to prove
what a winner she is. Juliet’s
a sweetheart and the first to
greet you in the morning. She
been bred to Magical’s award
winning white herdsire Accoyo
Titan ARI #808091. Titan’s offspring
have been phenomenal and with
the attributes both animals
bring to this pairing, we can’t
wait for Spring! PRICE:
$32,000.00 |

MLF Melanie
ARI # 802785, is an experienced
and excellent mother, an easy
birther (6 cria to date, all
unassisted, 1 rose-grey), makes
plenty of milk and is very protective
of her babies. She has great
bone structure and sound, straight
conformation. She is a dark
fawn with white and black markings
on her face and very uniform
fine fiber with good coverage
down to her dark brown toenails!
She is getting older, and is
developing white fibers on her
neck and apron area but is holding
her fineness. Her latest cria
Aristeaus, is a medium brown
male that is showing great promise
and with his proud carriage,
is the spitting image of his
sire, Appollo's Fire. She has
been bred to Magical's Peruvian
Amadeus ARI #810161,
an amazingly dense, beige macho
with solid conformation and
great bone structure. Combining
his dense bold crimp with Mel's
fineness has us eagerly awaiting
her next criation! If you're
looking for solid production
with strong conformation and
a dependable, maternal female…look
no further. PRICE: $17,000.00

Bluebird Hills Juno
ARI #842880) is a rare
full Peruvian, vicuna-patterned
suri with a gray muzzle, gray
ears and a face that will melt
your heart. Her fleece is dense
and consistent with a nice cool
hand, which explains her exceptional
luster. She has a perfect bite,
good conformation on a well-proportioned
frame. As she was the only alpaca
we had at that time not in production,
she’s had a limited show career
but never disappointed us and
always placed when entered.
She has given us a true black,
luster off the scale male we
called Loxias (see separate
listing) whose name fits him
perfectly. Juno has been bred
to LFA King, a gray macho with
the most luster I’ve ever seen
on a gray. His picture shows
him shorn but as you can tell,
he’s relocked & loaded with
presence! The possibilities
are exciting and next year can’t
arrive too soon. We hesitate
to place a price on Juno. For
now she is available for $40,000.00.

Bluebird Hills Fiachra
(ARI#842889) We fell
in love with this little girl
when she was but a few days
old. She was the first cria
I had ever had a chance to touch
and I could never get her out
of my mind. The breeder who
owned her thoughtfully wouldn't
sell her to us as she knew we
didn't know what we were doing
and were just in love with a
baby! As time went by and we
became more knowledgeable about
conformation and fleece, we
watched her grow and kept nagging
the breeder but by now her potential
was evident and the breeder
didn't want to part with her.
Persistence pays, either that
or you just nag them to death
but she now holds court in our
barn. Her lustrous fleece exhibits
these incredible little corkscrew
locks that remain independent
even having been shorn three
times. She always draws attention
from visitors as her fleece
is so appealing. You just don't
see this type of fleece that
often. She is also a barely
noticeable multi that is very
evident when shorn but hard
for the color checkers to discern.
She is currently bred to Accoyo
Admiral ARI#819787 for a Fall
2006 highly anticipated cria.
Fiachra is not for sale. |

Bluebird Hills Padme’
is a statuesque girl with a
standout presence. She a Ramilio
daughter and exhibits his rock
solid conformation which she
passes onto her cria. She is
a no-nonsense mom that is very
protective of her cria. She
has had no birthing issues,
possesses an incredible udder
and consequently raises strong
healthy cria. Experienced breeders
and those looking to begin an
elite Suri breeding program
seek incredible luster with
great coverage and independent
lock structure, both of which
Padme carries on a well balanced
frame exhibiting the great bone
density that is seen so often
in the Accoyo bloodlines. Her
fleece still maintains it’s
soft slick handle as well as
its independence even after
years of production. She is
a valued foundation member of
our white suri breeding program.
Padme’ has been bred to
Zeus, an award winning West
Coast herdsire owned by Lona
Frank. He’s a standout
Inca son who has followed in
his sire’s footsteps producing
elite fibered suri. Zeus’s
production record speaks for
itself and this pairing will
surely produce something spectacular.

Jefferson Laurel’s Callista
(ARI pending) is the latest
of our Juliet crias. Calli
is a solid maroon that is already
exhibiting a uniform crimp in
her cria fleece. She can’t help
herself from commanding attention
as she’s inherited a “look at
me” presence from both sides
of the family tree. Her sire
Peruvian Black Epic is a seven
time color champion with incredible
density and fleece architecture.
The potential for her to produce
exceptional colored fleeced
cria is exciting. Look for this
little lady in the ring next
year. Price is $17,000 until
weaned. |

SB Accoyo Snickerdoodle
Is a full Accoyo suri female
with a greasy, dense, highly
lustrous fleece that is so desired
in suri alpacas. It has superb
handle and has locked up beautifully
after her first shearing. Her
regrowth is exhibiting tight-penciled
locks with individual character.
After a successful show career
as a juvy, she has been retired
– she has nothing more
to prove to us. She will be
bred Spring of 06. With her
pedigree, her potential is phenomenal.

Jefferson Laurel's Calliope
ARI #1143133 Calliope
is another daughter of our Juliet.
She is an Accoyo The Last Don
granddaughter and an Accoyo
Plantel daughter making her
¾ Accoyo but 100% awesome.
Her white fleece just keeps
getting better and better. It
exhibits a medium crimp with
a soft handle and incredible
brightness. She is a large framed
girl but square and balanced
inheriting both her dams and
sires stature but a very feminine
presence. She is showing interest
in the boys but we'll hold her
until next Spring to breed her
when she is fully mature. We
plan on taking both Calliope
and Callista into the Produce
of Dam classes next Spring to
show what our Juliet is producing
. Price $25,000.00 until
bred. |

Jefferson
Laurel’s Aristeaus (ARI
Pending) is a med brown male
from our Melanie. Melanie has
never failed to produce exceptional
crias and Aristeaus is no exception.
His fleece is developing nicely
and has a very soft hand. He
is thriving and growing with
nice straight legs and a balanced
frame. Watch for him in the
showring next Spring. Currently
Priced at $10,000.

Jefferson
Laurel’s Argus (ARI
Pending) He is ¾ Accoyo and
one of the few Accoyo Belmonte
sons. There was no doubt when
he was born that he had luster
but even after all the dust
rolling fun he has had, it doesn’t
stick and he just glows. We
are very pleased with this little
guy and feel he has great potential
in our breeding program. |
|
Jefferson Laurel’s Loxias
(ARI Pending) took his sweet
time getting here (362 days)
but it was worth the wait. A
full Peruvian true black suri
male that has inherited his
sire’s mild personality and
his mom’s (Juno) playful nature.
We couldn’t be more pleased
with this boy. His luster is
off the charts, the handle of
his fleece is slick and cool.
His sire is Peruvian Millenium
ARI #803340 who has produced
100% suri offspring to date.
Yes, we are smitten with him…everyday
he just gets better and better.
Watch for him in the showring
next Spring. |

ATV
Solid Silver (ARI #803838)
really has grown into his name.
He is one solid boy. He’s conformationally
correct with incredible bone.
His fleece, even at 7 years
of age processes into very soft
yarn and lots of it! He is intact
but has never been used for
breeding which is a shame as
I think he would add density
and substance of bone. He is
third generation gray on both
sides. We got him as a companion
for a suri male that needed
a buddy at the time and they
were using his brother and didn’t
need him. Unbelievably
priced at $7500.00
cause I’d really like to see
him used by someone seriously
breeding for gray. |
